This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with subpart FAR 12.2; simplified procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to FAR Part 12.201, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services Part 12, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

The solicitation number is 36C256-26-Q-0424_1 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The proposed contract action is for Solid Waste Removal and Disposal for the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System (SLVHCS), located at New Orleans, LA.

Contractor shall be responsible for allocating all equipment and personnel, including back-up resources, to meet all requirements for the comprehensive management of solid waste and the recycling programs at Southeast Louisiana Health Care System (SLVHCS). The comprehensive waste services shall include the collection and disposal of waste, and the training and support required to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations. The Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.

The NAICS code is 562111 (Solid Waste Collection) and the size standard is $47 Million.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06- 10/01/2025). Only emailed requests received directly from the requester will be accepted.
