Concept Plan- Municipal Complex- SPLOST project

The City of Fort Valley, Georgia is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide concept planning and related pre-design services for a proposed Municipal Complex at 601 Bluebird Boulevard, Fort Valley, GA 31030 (approx. 8.75 acres). This procurement is funded by the 2021 SPLOST and is for concept planning only -- not final construction documents or full A/E services.
SCOPE: Site layout, conceptual floor plans, exterior character elevations, order-of-magnitude cost estimates for both phases, and preparation of scope language for a future full A/E solicitation.
PHASING:
Phase 1 -- City Hall (~10,000 SF), Fire Department (~10,000 SF), Fuel Station
Phase 2 -- Police Department (~10,000 SF)
DELIVERABLES include campus site plan, building concept diagrams, presentation graphics, and a final presentation to Mayor and Council.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Municipal/public-sector experience (25%), fee reasonableness (20%), project approach (20%), team qualifications (15%), similar deliverables (10%), schedule (10%).
Voluntary pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled. See RFP for details.
