The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract with a contractor to perform custodial services at specific public buildings within the City. The term of the contract shall be one (1) year with up to an additional three (3) years of continued service that is mutually agreed upon by both parties. Performance and Payment Bonds will not be required for this contract. Insurance and endorsements will be required.
The work under this RFP consists of a vendor providing custodial services for the City at various public buildings to include the Municipal Building, Fire Station, Police Station, the Styker Building, the Transportation Center, the Community Building, and Quarterpath Recreational Center. The types of services are described in Section VIII, and the specific work at each location is defined in the Special Terms and Conditions

Any Offeror wishing to submit a proposal and be considered for this solicitation shall have had a minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in providing these services. The vendor shall provide examples of other similar contracts and/or work to the CITY as part of their RFP submittal.

Custodial services to be provided at each identified location below:
1) Municipal Building, 401 Lafayette Street, 39,500 square feet
2) Stryker Center, 412 N Boundary Street, 16,000 square feet
3) Transportation Center, 468 N Boundary Street, 5,250 square feet
4) Police Station, 615 Lafayette Street, 30,100 square feet
5) Fire Department, 440 N Boundary Street, 10,800 square feet
6) Quarterpath Recreational Center (QRC), 201 Quarterpath Road, 13,000 square feet
7) Community Building, 401 N Boundary Street, 2,475 square feet
8) Will also need hourly rate for services that will require staff onsite for restroom cleaning and trash removal during special events in the buildings

A. Lobby, entrance/exit areas, elevators, stairwells & landings, hallways, meeting rooms,
B. General office areas
