1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1 PURPOSE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

The South Dakota Department of Health (SD DOH) is seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the role of TRAIN Affiliate Site Supervisor. TRAIN is a

national learning network use by the SD DOH that provides thousands of quality training opportunities across the SD DOH who are charged with

protecting and improving the public's health.

The Public Health Foundation (PHF) TRAIN Learning Network brings together agencies and organizations in the public health, healthcare, and

preparedness sectors to disseminate, track, and share trainings for the health workforce on a centralized training platform.

1.2 ISSUING OFFICE AND RFP REFERENCE NUMBER

The Division of Licensure and Accreditation is the issuing office for this document and all subsequent addenda relating to it, on behalf of the State of

South Dakota, Department of Health. The reference number for the transaction is RFP #24-0903001-020. This number must be referred to on all

proposals, correspondence, and documentation relating to the RFP.

1.3 LETTER OF INTENT

All interested offerors must submit a Letter of Intent to respond to this RFP.

The letter of intent should be received by email to Mariah.Pokorny@state.sd.us by no later than March 13th, 2024.

Please place the following in the subject line of your email: “Letter of Intent for RFP 24-0903001-020”.
