Qualifications:

Nonresident contractors who are individuals or partnerships and nonresident corporations not already registered with the Secretary of State are required to register with the Secretary of Revenue and to file a bond to assure payment of taxes, if the total contract price or compensation to be received amounts to more than $10,000 (K.S.A. 79-1009, K.S.A. 79-1010).

Special Requirements:

No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 30 days following the opening of Bids.

The character and amount of security to be furnished by each Bidder is stated in the Contract Documents.

The Riley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive formalities in considering Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board's opinion, is in the best interest of Riley County, Kansas.
